Partner and co-founder of Ethos Consulting Group, L.L.C., Reifsnyder has had more than twenty years of experience in palliative and end-of-life care, program development and administration, education, and research/evaluation. Formerly director of the Supportive Care Division of The VNA of Greater Philadelphia and formerly an instructor at Thomas Jefferson University, College of Allied Health Sciences, Reifsnyder completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Psychosocial Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Her current study of treatment decision-making among African Americans with advanced cancer and their family members, funded by the Oncology Nursing Society Foundation, is part of her on-going program of research focused on treatment decision-making in advanced illness. She has lectured locally, regionally, and nationally on palliative and end-of-life care and bioethics. She is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania and Associate of the Hartford Center for Geriatric Nursing Excellence. Her expertise in research, curriculum development, and program development has been utilized by clients around the country.
